Pricing:
At DarkFire we format you eBook to be read on any eReading device and SmartPhone on the market plus we distribute youreBook to major and minor retailers alike. We offer two levels of formatting service for your eBook:
$150- you send us an .RTF file with any images or graphics inserted as jpegs. This usually requires additional formatting work by your layout artist converting your InDesign or Quark layout file at whatever rates they may charge.
$250- if you don’t want you or your layout artist to hassle with the formatting, send us your InDesign, Quark, or even your print ready PDF file and we’ll do all the formatting necessary
Then when any of your eBooks sell we split the proceeds 75% to you and 25% to us. And each quarter you get a statement that details all of your sales and a check with your proceeds.
Submission Guidelines- READ ME:
Submitting your eBook couldn’t be easier. Whether you are uploading your ebook yourself or having your layout artist do it for you, you will need to gather a few things before completing the process.
- eBook Manuscript- this should be the final version of your book in a Word .DOC or .RTF format or your InDesign, Quark, or print-ready PDF file. We’ll take a look at it and let you know of any updates or changes that it may need
- Head shot- if you have one that you put on the back of your book, that works great for this. (JPEG file if you please)
- Cover art- grab the JPEG of your book’s cover so we can proudly display it
- Author and Book information- Author name and bio, book title and description. Most of these you’ll be able to rattle off the top of your head. You’ll see the full list on the upload page
If your layout artist has your eBook file and cover art, click here to send them an email requesting it.
After sending the email, you can come back to this page and complete the other steps.
